If you are sitting here wondering whether this could actually work for someone like you, these are the questions I hear most often. And if yours is not here, just ask. Reach out directly at Clarissa@cmempoweredcoaching.com, and I will get back to you personally.
No. Many of my clients come to me without a formal diagnosis. What matters is not the label. What matters is whether you recognize yourself in the experience: the overwhelm, the exhaustion, the sense that everything feels harder than it should, and the frustration of trying systems that work for everyone else but not for you.
If that sounds familiar, we are likely a good fit regardless of whether you have ever been formally diagnosed.
Therapy is focused on healing. It explores the past, addresses trauma, and helps you understand why you feel the way you do. It is deeply valuable work and coaching is not a replacement for it.
Coaching is focused on moving forward. We start from where you are right now and build toward where you want to be. I am not a therapist and our sessions are not therapy. If I believe a client would benefit from therapeutic support I will always say so directly.
Many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach at the same time and find that the two complement each other well.
Coaching is a structured, forward-focused conversation designed to help you understand yourself better and move forward with clarity and confidence. We do not dig endlessly into the past. We start with where you are, get clear on where you want to go, and build a path that actually fits how your brain works.
In a typical session we might explore what is keeping you stuck, identify patterns that are working against you, and develop practical strategies you can use immediately. Every session is tailored to you. There is no generic playbook here.
Sessions are one on one, conducted virtually, and typically 45 to 55 minutes. We usually begin by checking in on where you are and what has come up since our last conversation. From there we focus on whatever is most alive for you right now, whether that is a specific challenge, a decision you are navigating, or a pattern you want to shift.
You will leave each session with clarity, a renewed sense of direction, and concrete next steps that fit how you actually think and work.
Once you book your free 30-minute consultation, you will receive a confirmation with a link to our virtual meeting. Before we connect, I may send a short intake form so I can come prepared and make the most of our time together.
During the call, we will get to know each other, talk about what you are navigating right now, and explore what working together could look like. There is no pressure and no obligation. If we are a good fit, we will talk about next steps. If we are not I will tell you honestly and do my best to point you in the right direction.
The only thing you need to bring is an honest picture of where you are and an openness to something different.
Most clients notice a shift in how they think about themselves and their situation within the first two or three sessions. The internal work happens faster than most people expect.
Building new habits, systems, and ways of operating takes longer and depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment to the process. A typical coaching engagement runs three to six months, though many clients choose to continue beyond that as they take on new challenges and transitions.
What I can tell you is that this is not a quick fix. It is a permanent shift in how you understand and work with yourself.
Yes, completely. Everything shared in our coaching relationship is strictly confidential. I adhere to the ethical guidelines of the International Coaching Federation, which include a strong commitment to client privacy and confidentiality.
The only exceptions are situations involving risk of harm, which are standard across all helping professions. Outside of that, what happens in our sessions stays between us.
Coaching is a personal investment, and pricing reflects the depth and customization of the work we do together. I offer a free 30-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals, answer your questions, and talk through what working together would look like, including investment details.
I believe the right fit matters more than the price, so let's talk before you make any decisions.
The best way to find out is to have a conversation. I offer a free 30-minute session where we get to know each other, explore your goals, and talk about how you like to be supported. There is no pressure and no obligation.
If I am not the right coach for you, I will tell you honestly, and if I can point you toward someone who is a better fit, I will do that too.
Most of my clients had never worked with a coach before they found me. You do not need to know how coaching works or come in with a perfectly articulated goal. You just need to be willing to show up honestly and be open to seeing things differently.
If you are tired of feeling stuck and ready to try something that is actually built for how your brain works, that is enough to start.
